We made just eight of these, and each one is completely one of a kind. The front panels are built by hand from a mix of vintage Indian fabric swatches - different patterns, textures, colours and woven motifs, pieced together one at a time at the 18 Waits studio. Every panel is its own little composition, so no two jackets are the same.
The rest is classic 18 Waits: a clean, structured workwear silhouette with a denim-inspired construction, built for layering and meant to be lived in. Flat-felled seams, hand-sewn buttons and our uniquely shaped pointed cuffs give it that extra bit of character. Eight jackets, made by hand, and that's it.
