Social Media & eComm Manager

Job Description:

Social Media, PR, & Influencer Management
  • Content creation for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Facebook.
  • Posting and engagement for aforementioned SM platforms.
  • Use Canva to create all manner of on-brand marketing and PR materials.
  • Schedule and manage on-brand social content via LATER app.
  • Manage PR outreach for events and new collections.
  • Liaise with media when approached for collabs.
  • Liaise with, and manage influencer agreements/collaborations and giveaways following brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Email & SMS Marketing
  • Meet with our Retention Science (our emailer platform) rep on a bi-weekly basis to review progress, address any outstanding questions, and make tweaks to our email marketing strategy. Meet with her on a quarterly basis to audit our account and make bigger picture changes.
  • Monitor analytics from and update email & SMS content between ongoing/automatic emails/SMS (stages, flows, experiences) AS WELL AS broadcasts/blasts

E-Commerce - keep website up-to-date with new collections and products on a seasonal and ad-hoc basis.

  • Creating and updating new products
  • Creating collections/re-organizing the site (eg. seasonal gift guides)
  • Update pricing on website dynamically as sales start and stop
  • Optimize site according to industry best practices and standards to ensure highest conversion rates YoY.
  • Setting up and maintaining apps that optimize the website (i.e. JustUno for pop ups, yotpo for reviews, Theme updater for Shopify theme, etc.)
  • Responding to and exploring new apps that may be beneficial to the brand
Marketing
  • Strategize, plan, execute, and track an omni-channel marketing strategy alongside Dan based on season/time of year (including but not limited to email, SMS, and social media)
  • Keep track of monthly and quarterly sales and ROI across all sales and marketing channels (i.e. online/in- store/wholesale as well as email, SMS, social media, etc.
Consistently tweak and adjust the plan to improve YoY growth).
  • Consistently monitor for new agency/partner/freelancer opportunities and make informed decisions surrounding their potential to aid in our growth strategy.

  • Photo Shoots
  • Plan shoots for creative Look Books, e-commerce product listings, etc.
  • Liaise with photographers to guide shoot (provide specs and ensure photos are of high quality).
  • Organize logistics of shoot (discuss how many and which models, coordinate date and time, ensure they know what to bring to shoot, pull products that need to be shot, keep a shot list to ensure we don’t miss anything).
  • Event Planning
  • Create, promote and market events such as our store concert series, store anniversary parties, wine and whiskey nights, etc.
  • Customer Service – Converse with customers on all manner of issues – items out of stock, issues with items, shipping delays, questions about sizing, etc in a warm and professional manner.
(*This will chiefly be done by Store Manager but correspondence with customers via social media – if that’s how they reach out – will be included in role.)

Sales/Product Forecasting – work with Dan to estimate product quantities, styles, sizing, and profit margins for each upcoming season based on sales success.

Production Related Assistance – Double check production templates for errors (i.e. order summary).
  • Work closely with production when new product is received to get it on website ASAP.

Store Management – Liaise with store staff on inventory management and day to day running of store.

  • Making sure shipping for online web orders is running smoothly (primarily Canada Post and Chit Chats) - liaising with each shipping service on issues when needed.

A highly motivated, top seller, organized, enthusiastic, stylish, hard working Sales Associate to join our tight- knit team.

This is a position that requires open availability/weekend availability.

Requirements
• Top seller with excellent customer service skills
• Strong work ethic to set the standard, lead by example and be a team player 
• Excellent knowledge of the contemporary fashion market
• Positive work attitude
• Exceptional organization skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and troubleshoot
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and persuasive manner at all levels, internal and external to 18w
• Resourceful, self-motivated and energetic

Experience
• 3 years’ fashion retail experience
*Familiarity with Shopify would be an asset.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and help grow the 18w brand ethos and standards already in place
• Drive the business by maintaining existing client relationships and building & nurturing new ones
• Opening and closing procedures
• Daily inventory reconciliation
• Communicate sales reports and feedback with the 18w team
• Ensure that the store and product are kept at the high standards expected from our customers and 18w team
• Report store needs to the 18w team
• Manage weekly cleaning duties to 18w standards
• Manage web orders and prepare for shipping
