    Map | Provincetown, MA

Map in Provincetown, MA is one of our new accounts for Fall/Winter 2011. One of the great independent stores in the United States, it's been a go-to on Cape Cod for many years. We're really excited to be working with Pauline and her fantastic staff. If you're on the Cape this summer, be sure to check it out. We just delivered our first shipments for Fall and Pauline sent along a few display photographs. Spot the dark blue 'traditional' shirt, Danko hat and Bateau necklace.

    New Collaboration with Heather Heron

Just wrapped up market week in NYC, by all accounts a big success. We'll be sharing product and creative images for the spring/summer 2012 collection over the next few months. But we couldn't wait to show you the results of our recent collaboration with Heather Heron, a good friend and talented designer. Heather's specialty is kick-ass bags and we worked with her on a new duffel (carry-on size) and day pack. We also worked with Heather on a summer weight blanket, using her signature hemp blend. Amazing, amazing stuff. Here's the teaser. Much more to come soon. Eighteen Waits + Heather Heron Spring/Summer 2012 Collaboration

    Father's Day Inspiration: Bourbon

We've been brainstorming Father's Day gifts at 18 Waits headquarters and as a public service thought we'd share some gems. We'll post our suggestions over the next week leading up to the big day. First on the list and always at the top of our minds: booze. And what could be finer than one of the world's great bourbon's? The Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery is based in Franklin County, Kentucky and they make small-batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey just about as well as anyone. Pappy Van Winkle's 23 Year Old / Family Reserve is their masterpiece. You can buy it here: http://bit.ly/lQfu79
